Dress Campaign is a nonprofit organization in Wisconsin which repurposes formal dance dresses for high school students so that every teen has the opportunity to have their own dance dress.

What makes us different
Dance night shouldn't come with a price tag
A prom dress averages $200 — before hair, nails, shoes, or dinner. A dance dress is worn for about six hours. We make sure cost never decides who gets to feel amazing on their night.
A real shopping experience
Our trailer doubles as a mobile changing room with a selfie mirror — so picking a dress feels like shopping, not charity.
Fashion sustainability
Dresses that would sit in closets or end up in landfills get a second life — and a second chance to make someone's night.
How it works
From your closet to their dance night
1 · Schools host a drive
Partner high schools collect lightly loved prom, homecoming, and winter formal dresses from students and families.
2 · Dresses are sorted
Volunteers inspect and organize every dress so each one is clean, beautiful, and ready for a new owner.
3 · Dress drop day
Students browse and pick their own dress — at no cost, no questions asked — from our mobile trailer.

The problem
One special night shouldn't cost a fortune
The average prom dress costs around $200 — not including hair, nails, shoes, or dinner. For many Wisconsin teens, that's simply out of reach, and the dress is only worn for about six hours.
Dance dresses sit in closets collecting dust or end up in landfills. We bring the two together: dresses that need a second night, and teens who deserve one.
